Advanced Level Pure Maths
Based on Tranter
Introduction
I studied Physics at Chelsea College, London University in the late 1960’s, which of course involved a significant amount of maths. Although I managed to graduate with honours I never got to grips with Quantum Mechanics and we only studied Special Relativity, leaving out General Relativity.
I have always wanted to understand these and now as I approach 70 I must set about doing this before time runs out. To this end I need to refresh a lot of topics, and maths being the basis of physics I will revisit my old maths text books I used to study for Advanced Level Pure Maths in the 6th Form, in my case written by C. J. Tranter.
